About Sri Veerabathini

Being  born and brought up in India, my story starts and continues to be an interesting journey. Growing up in a Christian home, going to church was  a regular occurrence for me, but a real relationship with God was the last thing on my mind.

My pursuit in life was focused on many other things, my BA in Mechanical Engineering not being one of them, but it was during my college days that God got my attention. After hearing the Gospel all through my life, and then listening to the leading of a man of God, I accepted Christ in the most unexpected and unplanned moment. From this moment on, I immediately began to share my faith in God with others, many of whom thought I had gone crazy and didn’t believe me because of my past life choices. Continuing my training under a local Pastor in India prepared me for the next step ahead which was to step out on my own for full time ministry.

It was during this season of my life that I connected with a young missionary from the US not knowing at the time, she would be my wife two years later. Our life together began with my move to the US, which was a total step of faith. We soon celebrated the birth of our son in 2009, which followed shortly with our move from VA to FL.This move was definitely a defining moment for our faith and ministry, because in just four years down the road, we received the call to pastor Covenant Fusion Church. This part of our journey has been my greatest honor in ministry, which balances  my life of being a husband, and father of two.

Thank you for doing me the honor of taking a moment to capture a glimpse of my journey with God.  I look forward to sharing more with you and helping you along your journey with God, to fulfill my Mission at Covenant Fusion Church, where we are

“Not Just a Church–We are a Family”!

About Christine Veerabathini

My life with Christ began at the age of 9, when I kneeled at the foot of my bed to ask Jesus to come into my heart as my Lord & Saviour.  Growing up in a Christian, homeschooled household, this may have come easy for me to make this decision, but my real pursuit of God continued throughout my childhood and into my young adult life.

Following high school graduation, I attended Mission Virginia, a discipleship program based college, taking classes with Lee University . At Mission, God prepared my heart for ministry through opportunities to reach out to my community (local apartment complexes, nursing homes, kids ministry and youth programs).  After completing year one, I continued there as an intern, learning more of what it takes to truly care for your community. During my internship, I attended Liberty University, studying Religion, which later added to my Bachelors in Ministry.

Near the completion of  my internship, I was offered the opportunity to travel to India for a Missions trip, where I would preach, teach and share God’s love in the local orphanage,  schools, and surrounding villages. Throughout my time in India, I traveled with a ministry team, part of which was Pastor Sri! God connected us with our mutual heart and passion for God & ministry. And now after being married  since 2008 our heart for God, our family and ministry have only grown.

On June 16,  2013, Pastor Sri & I held our first Sunday service to found Covenant Fusion Church in our living room with a few families with our church motto that “We’re not just a Church-We are a Family”, and that will continue to be our  pursuit to continue that family atmosphere as we grow in the future. As we have built our ministry, we have grown our family as well. Now a mother of two , my heart for wifehood & motherhood has only increased, as God has laid the ministry of the womb on my heart as part of our ministry. God continues to lead in opportunities to minister to women, children, and even to the unborn.

I am so thankful for the honor of serving God’s people and loving and caring for them at Covenant Fusion Church and in our community. My lifelong purpose Scripture is Isaiah 61:1-3 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor…to heal the brokenhearted…to proclaim liberty to the captives…to comfort all who mourn…and to give them beauty for ashes…”
